"My Dreams, My Future"

I have lots of dreams for my life. And these dreams are my future. And to be able to achieve it, I do "NOT JUST SOMETHING".
My Dreams are so high, so it seem impossible to reach. But I'm not the type of person who easily quits and lost hope. If there is a need for me not to eat my breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner to finish my requirements in school, I can do it. I even want to be a scholar too. If ever I will be lucky enough to pass the test for scholarship I will not be ashamed of myself. Because for me that would be a blessing and not something that would discriminate you. And to be a scholar will help me a lot.
I am really willing to sacrifice everything for whatever I am doing and I will do is something not for my own sake but for my family and future family.
It's not bad to dream as long as you do lots of sacrifices. Dreaming alone will not lead you to a bright future, you need to work hard for it and sacrifice to achieve those dreams.

Change: It starts with me

Change. According to Philosopher Heraclitus, there is nothing permanent except change. It is a permanent thing to all existing creature including mankind. Humans change in attitude and physique which is very evident as a person grows up and mature.
There are lots of things in me that I need to change. Changes that would contribute to the progress of our country. We all know that one of the problems of our country is lack of discipline. And I know that I am one of the millions of Filipinos who is not discipline enough. So, I need to change.
As a student leader I must be the role model. I must initiate things that would lead to the improvement and betterment of our school. I will also encourage my fellow students to start change too. And I will convince them to join leadership trainings/workshops to develop their skills, values and attitudes so that they will be a good citizen and a great leader in the future.
Change: It starts with me. If you want to have a progressive country you should begin to change now.

"Kannawidan Ylocos Festival"

Ilocos Sur celebrates again the Kannawidan Ylocos Festival. It started last January 31 and enede yesterday February 6, 2011. For this year's celebration I enjoyed it. Why?
First reason is that last February 4, 2011 I was awarded as one of the Outstanding Girl Scout in the Province during the SIGLAT ESKWELA as part of the Kannawidan Ylocos Festival held at the Provincial Capitol.
Second reason is because of what I saw in the trade fair just beside the provincial Capitol. I was impressed of the unique products that I saw. And because of this I am very proud that I am an Ilocana.
The Kannawidan Ylocos Festival is also a chance for the lovely ladies of Ilocos Sur to expose their beauties and talents to the people like the Saniata contest held last Feb. 5.
I am also happy that the Provincial Government conducted this kind of festival. There is always new everytime we celebrate this festival. Many tourists are even visiting us here because of this occasion. And for me this is an opportunity to let other people see, touch and taste the unique products of Ilocos Sur.
